ShiftWise is a vendor management system (VMS) for healthcare contingent labor, founded in Portland, OR in 2002 and acquired by AMN Healthcare in 2013; its current product is ShiftWise Flex. Hospitals and health systems use it to post orders to staffing agencies, manage float pools, track credentials and time, and handle agency invoicing. It is a facility- and agency-side platform rather than a worker app: CNAs and nurses do not sign up or pick shifts directly in ShiftWise, and it does not employ or pay them.
